Solid Edge /Unigraphics: Pinnacle Engineering uses
Solid Edge CAD 3D modeling software to help clients
minimize costs and increase revenues. Solid Edge
embeds design management capabilities directly within
CAD, providing insight into creative intent and enhancing
collaboration. As a result, the design of highly complex
products is simplified and timelines are streamlined with
3D modeling.
Solid Edge allows Pinnacle engineers to generate
exploded assembly views, section views, part performance
simulation and sheet metal patterns. Pinnacle can accept
and return Unigraphics data without translation. Solid Edge
is ideal for product lifecycle management (PLM) programs.
Pinnacle’s V16 enhances Solid Edge’s capability for hybrid
2D/3D design with the capacity to create 3D parts from 2D
assembly layouts and tools for hybrid 2D/3D design. Included
is a new “Zero D” capability that defines product structure
before geometry is decided.
CATIA: Pinnacle’s bi-directional Solid Edge-to-CATIA
translator allows for the exchange of solid models in CATIA
format. CATIA digital product definition and simulation is one
of industry’s most powerful tools for collaborative engineering
and the enhancement of both design-to-simulation and
design-to-manufacturing processes.
AutoCAD: Pinnacle Engineering provides a technology
bridge for clients with general-purpose AutoCAD who want
3D modeling capabilities without the substantial costs of
upgrades and training requisite with more powerful 3D
modeling software. Our tools and specialists facilitate the
creation and sharing of design data more efficiently than
ever before. 3D modeling allows detailed product
visualization as well as process interference analysis.
Structural Analysis and Design: Pinnacle Engineering
provides component structural Finite Element Analysis
using EMRC software. We use FEA and MathCAD V13
Professional to validate unit structural integrity, and life
cycles for dynamic structures such as carriers, conveyor
and monorail track and transfer units.
